AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE NO CHOICE
The Iranian president reminded the U.S., “You know well that today you are suffering from weaknesses. You have no choice.” What Uncle Ahmi means is that the US has no shame! Where the Arabs respect only the sword they are met by a USA waving empty rhetoric at best. True, when push comes to crunch the US will wipe out half the planet (5.5 billion will eventually die including the US), but until then we must ‘play the game’. Winners are grinners and the Arabs are laughing their heads off. It’s the American PEOPLE they have defeated!
Some indicate they believe Uncle Obie has read that bit about, “Talk softly and carry a big stick” but Hillary Rodless Clinton doesn’t impress me as much of a stick. She thinks her position is a ‘statement for women’ more than a defensive tactician for every freedom loving person on the planet. Which is to say, even the USA eventually has to defend Freedom.
In the case of the US the question always has been, “Can we sell more cars and refrigerators by doing this?” That was why it took three years for the US to involve itself in WWII. The presently feted and vaunted Kennedy Klan in those days represented by ‘Old Joe’, the US Ambassador, were in favour of appeasing Hitler and continued selling ‘commodities’ to both sides, at a profit, until they were compelled to stop.
What forced the Yanks to fight was not the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour but the fact Churchill promised them, if they refused to fight he would make the name America stink in all the World for generations to come!
So the great US of A decided to Save the World by saving its own face. But not in 1939. Later, much later, when saving face demanded action, at last.
That face is being publicly slapped today by all and sundry.
The image of Obama bending the knee to the Saudi king was no accident. He was deliberately placed in a situation he lacks the fortitude to handle. A greater man would have paused until the Arab adjusted HIS position to accommodate the Supreme Commander of the United States of America. The World saw him bow to an arab oil merchant.
How many ‘innocent individuals’ will have to die to expunge that memory?
So Saud remains seated in the presence of uncle Obie and uncle Ahmi reminds him the US has “got no choice”. North Korea “technically the poorest Nation on Earth” according to a State Dept. representative on Jim Lehrer’s Hour, thumbs its nose and says, if you so much as “dare” to comment on my missile development program that will be war. Russia points out it’s only selling arms to rogue states like Iran and Lebanon “for the sake of the money and to advance Peace in the Region”.
Every other semi-literate Chavez in Somalian and Thai moral deserts accepts by common consent there is nothing the US can do to ‘let or hinder’.
We recall the wording of Her Majesty’s British Passport – “No Let or Hindrance”. That sends the appropriate message to some half dressed slob in far off dusty cantons that here is an emissary bent on business of its own import. I like it!
We do not like the obvious fact that uncle Obie has no choice but to endure these constant and public insults until he does something about it. We accept that, due to the nature of the offences dealt him, death will spread like a stain in tissue paper far and wide across the Globe.
This is not a sport.
There is no End Play.
This is just how day turns into night and into day again. The US has elected a politically correct community facilitator to usher in the night and the next day.
We like it here. This World is beautiful and glorious.
